Elie Khalifeh

Born in Beirut in 1964, he studied cinema at l'École supérieure d'art visuel in Geneva (ESAV), and has written, directed and produced several short films: Taxi Service (1996), Merci Natex (1998), Van Express (2004), a personal documentary Love & Cigarettes (2006) and a feature film, Yanoosak (2010). Currently, Elie Khalifeh is preparing his next feature film, Trempoline. He is also the manager of the production house Taxi Films. He teaches scriptwriting and filmmaking in many Lebanese Universities such as the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA), The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) and follows up on graduation projects and many cinema workshops.
